I have been in business for twelve years August 2007.  Right from the start of my business service and sales took off.  My vision of serving the local community seems to be a perfect fit in the Napa Valley and surrounding area.

Many customers call me Doc for getting that sick pc back to a healthy good working pc.  I get a kick out of that.

Going back to my past oh there is not enough space so I will leave this as you see it:

In 1991 I purchased a mighty sx386 DOS 5.0 windows 3.0 wow!!  In no time I had read up on optimizing the system.  Before long on the screen was "you have performed an irreversible error terminate". My neighbor Dr. John Hazlet and good friend said just sys the C:  he showed me and after that I was hooked on computers.  My friends always called me they needed to edit the autoexec.bat file or config.sys file to gain on extended or expanded ram in DOS.  This would let programs and games work faster.  John Hazlet said you only have to buy one computer in a box to learn that to have a good performing computer build it yourself.  I did that and still do today.  You can get a custom built computer from me see my services.

I was in construction,  I hurt my wrist in 1993.  My doctor said I have to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

A un-wanted life change in the middle of raising my family and paying my mortgage was a tough choice.

In 1993 through early 1995, my wife went to work to help pay the bills here as I attended Clarity Technology's in Concord and San Francisco I learned to understand networking and trouble shooting systems.  I then went on to Dots diversified office training in Rutherford and went on to work at Computers on Line in Santa Rosa.  I really liked building computers there along with onsite service.  The drive was a quite a stretch but good experience for me.  I will never forget them.  With my training I was ready to help support a large business anywhere USA.  In 1995 I decided to start my own business Able Computers and support the local community.  This choice was the best thing I have done for my family and myself.  I helped get my kids off to school then off to work I go.  My wife works in the accounting side of the business.

I have met so many good people and businesses in Napa Valley I just can not say enough about the area its great.

In 1996 I joined LeTip Business Networking Group a local business group where only one business category is allowed "no conflicts of interest allowed" this year 2007 I am still a member.  LeTip has been a great business referral source for Able Computers and all members.  I have seen a lot of good businesses grow there.
